Introducing Photon Library

With iOS 18, Apple has again changed the way we look at our photos. The new look of one neverending screen of photos, while being designed for customization, is organized in an innovative way. However, this new perspective has been confusing and frustrating to early adopters, including many of our own friends and family. You’re scrolling vertically here, then horizontally there, and things keep moving around!

At LateNiteSoft we’ve been proud to bring your photography powerful manual controls with Photon Camera, comprehensive editing in Photon Enhance, and unparalleled viewing flexibility via Photon Studio, in beautiful packages that remain simple enough for anyone to use. After our initial take on the Photos app, we decided to extend our design philosophy to your photo library, and we’ve been hard at work in these last few weeks before iOS 18 released to make that happen.

To that end, we’re pleased to introduce Photon Library. We’re bringing back tabs, basic photo grids, a list of albums you can simply scroll through, and we even added some quick access to your Favorites! We hope the resident family “tech support” in your audience will keep us in mind as their families upgrade and start complaining about how difficult the new Photos app is to use.

We’re also keeping the pricing simple by making this a normal paid app, no subscriptions! We’re launching this at a limited time introductory price of $4.99 in the US (other countries vary per Apple’s pricing tiers).
